Discover the first artisanal coffee tour in Mindo and enjoy the organic coffee plantation, the processing plant and the roasting house – You’ll see everything from the seed to the cup.
The purpose of this tour is to show all visitors that our organic coffee is environmentally friendly and grown by sustainable methods to make the best coffee in Mindo.
This cultural tour takes approximately one hour. The tour guide will provide a brief insight into Ecuadorian coffee history and the importance of coffee in the Ecuadorian economy. You’ll learn how our organic coffee is grown, and cared- for, harvested, artisanal processed and roasted, producing at the end a great organic cup of coffee.
You will be able to pick and taste the ripe coffee berries during the season.
As part of our community work, we buy ripe organic coffee berries from local farms around the area of the Mindo-Nambillo Cloud Forest giving them the best price that they deserve for their highest quality berries to be sold in our lodge.
